How To Share a File or Folder Saved In Google Drive

There are 2 ways to share a file and/or folder that you have saved in your Google Drive account.

Using a Publicly Accessible Share Link (URL)

Sharing a file or folder directly out of your google drive means any changes to the file that you make, will mean that the Heroes accessing your file will also see these new changes you make.

Automation Agency doesn't accept Google Drive folders shared directly to a specific Google account so we are unable to accept shared files or folders sent to us using the "Share" feature.

We can however access files and folders that you provide a "Share Link" that is set as Viewable by "Anyone with the link" as these don't require a specific Google user to access.

You can provide this link in your replies or task descriptions and our team can then download the file.

You can learn how to create a Publicly Accessible Share Link from this article on the Google Support Site.

Uploading a File via Web Portal

From the web portal when requesting a new task or when replying on a task conversation you can add Attachments by Uploading a File.

From the Upload a File screen you can connect to your Google Drive account and select from any file you have in your Google Drive.

Using this feature will Upload a copy of the file from your Drive to our servers and send it through with the task.

Please note, any changes made to the file in your Google Drive on your side after uploading it won't be duplicated to the file on our servers.

If you want changes made to the file you have in Google Drive to be accessible to our team without sending a new file, then use the Publicly Accessible Share Link (URL) method above.
